Why I teach: *I teach because I want to be the  change I want to see. Middle school students are unique individuals with their own way of thinking and learning. I want to be the catalyst for my students to see Math in a new way. I teach because I want my students to see that they are able to accomplish whatever it is they put their minds to and to realize that success is a result of hard work and the right mindset.

Hobbies/ Interests: Singing, reading

Family: I’m married to John English. We have a blended family of 7 children, Samyiah, Sakinah, Idris, Khalil, Armand, Nasir, and Annalise. We also have 13 grandchildren.
